Is the restaurant open for non residents?
Of course, we welcome everybody to The River Bar.

Are pets allowed in the restaurant?
Unfortunately, due to the comfort of all of our guests pets are not allowed in the restaurant, guide dog are of course permitted.

Are children allowed in the restaurant?
Yes they are very welcome including babies and our chefs would be delighted to cater children friendly food or smaller portions from our menu.

Are we allowed to bring balloons for a birthday party?
Absolutely, appropriate table decorations are welcome to be displayed.

Do you have round tables?
We can use a round tables should you wish but it would be by prior arrangement

Are advanced reservations necessary?
Not always, however to avoid disappointment and or a long wait it is always prudent to make a reservation.

Can we hire out the River bar restaurant out exclusively?
Yes you can, however it does come at a cost.

Do you have vegetarian options on the menu?
Not specifically, however our head chef can offer a range of options in advance or on the night.

Do you cater for Vegans?
Our chefs are traditionally trained and can cater for any specific requirements of our guest

Can I hold my wedding reception in the river bar?
Yes you can, however it does come at a cost

How many people can be seated in the restaurant?
Between 55/60 depending on table arrangement

Can you have a disco in there?
Unfortunately not, but music is played though a mini stereo.

What type of food do you serve?
Our chefs create an eclectic mix of food from traditional English to contemporary fusion cuisine

How much is Sunday Lunch?
On Sundays we have available the full a la carte menu also a set menu where 2 courses will be £14.95 and 3 courses £19.00

What time are the last orders taken from the kitchen?
Monday –Saturday last orders is at 10pm and on Sundays last orders are at 9:30pm
